Our office uses only the finest materials available. All fillings are tooth-colored; we do not use dental amalgam and haven’t for at least 12 years. All fillings and Crown Buildups are lined with adhesive, fluoride-releasing materials to ensure the highest degree of postoperative comfort. Extensive attention is paid to your bite, also known as your “Occlusion. A patient’s Occlusion can often be improved with properly-planned operative procedures.
Directly-placed fillings are complete and ready to use at the end of your visit. Laboratory-processed restorations require fabrication time, which varies on a case-by case basis. Provisional Restorations are created to insure your comfort and function during the Laboratory Fabrication period; we take great pride in creating lifelike, durable provisionals.
All Laboratory-Processed restorations (Crowns, Inlays, and Onlays) are fabricated by the best, most experienced, and most meticulous Dental Laboratories in the United States. We only use Dental Laboratories that are registered with the United States FDA, and which carry at least ISO 9001 certification. We do not outsource to laboratories in other countries, and do not use volume-driven “cheap” dental laboratories.
